Interns work two to four days per week doing a variety of tasks.
Typical duties include:
- Working outdoors on multiple sites in Pleasanton, Livermore, and Dublin in teams of 2-4 people under the professional leadership of a field coordinator.
- Learning and applying stream maintenance techniques.
- Implementing planting plans, maintain restoration sites, and conduct monitoring as needed.
- Training and leading groups of 10-40 volunteers.
- Working with hand tools, and equipment such as string trimmers, augers, and water trailers.
