Join this FREE class to become a Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper. Become a recognized industry leader in sustainable landscaping and irrigation!

This two-week course features live online instruction four days per week with the highly acclaimed landscaping and irrigation expert: Lori Palmquist. Because we know everyone has different schedules, participants can choose the series that works best for them. Certifying exams will be offered for both series the week of Oct. 19th.

Evening Series Instruction Begins Monday, October 5^th

7:00 – 9:00 PM. (Register)

Morning Series Instruction Begins Tuesday, October 6^th

8:00 – 10:00 AM. (Register)

*Access to the web-based Zoom application required. Minimal exam fee applies.

Who should attend: Landscape contractors and irrigation technicians, park and public agency maintenance staff, landscape architects and designers, and others interested in landscape water conservation.

What’s it about: The QWEL professional certification course provides education on water-saving sustainable landscaping principles, soils, plant water needs, irrigation system troubleshooting and audits, controller programming and more. We’re back and we missed you!

It’s been an entire Program year since we hosted our last volunteer event. Though we missed our volunteers terribly, it was a necessary step to protect the safety of our crew and our volunteers. The crew has been hard at work all this time, waiting for the right time to welcome back volunteers.
